Directing for Silver Spring Stage, Joining Molotov Theatre Group & More Performances!
So I was going to hold off on making these two official announcements, but fudge it: I’m too excited. First of all, I’m happy to announce that I’m finally getting a chance to direct a full show in the DC area! Come mid-late September I will be directing God of Carnage for Silver Spring Stage! I’ve worked with Silver Spring Stage on a few different projects in the past and have always been charmed by their level of professionalism. And now I’m even more charmed by this great opportunity they’ve given me. Auditions will be held at the end of the month, so stay tuned for updates. I hope to see all of you amazing actors there to give me plenty of casting options.
And just as awesome as getting a directing chance, I’m happy to announce that I will soon be joining Molotov Theatre Group as a company member! For those that don’t know, Molotov is a professional theater company in DC that puts on some really great shows. I had the opportunity to see their production of Extremities last Fall and was blown away by how good it was. This is a really cool opportunity to expand my horizons with a company I believe in, and I’m very grateful for the chance. Make sure to check them out here, and give them a follow on Facebook and Twitter.
And, of course, The Narrow Gate returns to the Source Festival for performances tonight and Saturday at 8pm. Click here for tickets. Or if you’re a little cash shy, try to snab a discounted ticket at Goldstar here.
That’s all for now. But make sure to check back here soon for more updates as they come across the wire.
See you on the other side, Ray.
