Adam R. Adkins has been working in professional theater for over a decade in DC, MD, VA and NY. Recently he has performed in the Helen Hayes recommended Nightfall with Edgar Allen Poe for Molotov Theatre Group, Saving Private Poo for the 2014 Capital Fringe Festival and Morning, Miranda with Doorway Arts Ensemble. He has also performed in R.U.X. for the 2012 Capital Fringe Festival, which won the Audience Award for Best Comedy. Other favorite performances have included Trespassing (Ambassador Theater), Into the Woods: In Concert (Nu Sass), The Walking Fred (Landless Mashup Festival) and Stop Kiss(Silver Spring Stage). He is a company member with Molotov Theatre Group and has been seen lurking behind Julia Louis-Dreyfus in HBO’s Veep. He has recently directed God of Carnage for Silver Spring Stage and The Scottish Detective for The Hope Operas. His next project will be playing Jonathan Turino in The Margins for Molotov in April.
